Busy

Post  Ianto on Sat Feb 12, 2011 4:38 pm

Well, not exactly, but my house has been hectic (read: parental war zone) lately, and I've been spending most of the past three days in a local cafe to get away from it. The internet connection works, but it sucks, so it's annoying as hell to write posts (worst excuse ever). I'll try to get some posts in tonight when I go back home, but they might come slow. Sorry to anyone who's been waiting!

Fei out.

You come first. If it keeps your sanity from fraying then go to the cafe and stay there! I know what it is like with family bull going on. It's never all fun and games. Just take care of yourself!

;w; Thank you~

I'll try to figure out what needs posting in, and then I'll try and get them all in, even if they're a bit short. RPing is, among other things, a fabulous way to forget about that pesky thing called real life.

I wish I could use RPing as escaping real life like you guys can. And I know exactly how it is to deal with a parental war zone. I'm glad that you're able to escape it and be away from them, and I hope things get better.

Escape doesn't always work if you are still in the same place as the anxiety is coming from but it does help most of the time. My brother, sister and I used video games to avoid Christmas "fun." It didn't stop anything but it kept us entertained.

So can't hide from yours too well Devin? Sometimes it isn't easy at all.

I suppose 'escape' isn't the right word, so much as 'convenient thing to distract my attention while I attempt to ignore the yelling.' It also gives me a good thing to stare at when they come to rant at me - looking like your engrossed in something is a good way to make people stop talking to you quickly.

Distraction does help. You have people who actually respect when you are busy at something Surprised ... just not respectful of anything else apparently. *rolls eyes at them*
